Job summary
Emapta Philippines is seeking a Technical Support Associate to resolve SQL, hardware, and software issues for pharmacy technology customers. You will handle on-site support in Ortigas, work night shifts with training, and help keep POS systems, databases, and devices running smoothly.
The role requires 2+ years in technical support, strong SQL Server experience, Windows expertise, and solid communication skills.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
- At least 2 years in software/technical support or IT help desk.
- Hands-on with Microsoft SQL Server including databases, queries, troubleshooting.
- Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills for desktop, apps, peripherals, and systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 or later and basic networking.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation abilities.
- Excellent spoken/written communication and customer-facing skills.
- Prior call center or customer-facing tech support experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Teams, and standard office equipment.
Responsibilities
- Respond to support tickets and calls promptly.
- Triage tickets related to basic POS software features.
- Explain POS software and tech concepts clearly to users.
- Troubleshoot, test, and document potential software bugs for Tier II.
- Collaborate with team to resolve issues and provide accurate solutions.
