Job description

We are looking for a Spare Parts Team Lead to support our Maintenance and Administrative operations. This role assists in supervising spare parts personnel, managing inventory and material movement, coordinating purchasing activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient spare parts operations. The position also supports maintenance system updates, reporting, employee training, and continuous improvement initiatives while promoting compliance with food safety, quality, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising daily spare parts operations and personnel.

• Oversee inventory management, material handling, storage, receiving, and issuance of spare parts.

• Prepare and process Purchase Requests (PR) for replenishment of inventory items and coordinate with Purchasing.

• Monitor stock levels, establish re-order points and quantities, and maintain accurate inventory records.

• Ensure proper organization, utilization, and safety of spare parts storage areas.

• Train new spare parts personnel on SOPs, work instructions, guidelines, and programs.

• Maintain and update the Preventive Maintenance System and related maintenance information.

• Prepare maintenance accomplishment reports and monitor Work Orders, Job Orders, and equipment records.

• Review documents and follow up on pending requirements to ensure completeness and accuracy.

• Coordinate with Maintenance, Procurement, Warehouse, and other departments regarding spare parts and maintenance requirements.

• Assist in personnel performance evaluation and recommend appropriate actions when necessary.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend improvements to spare parts and maintenance procedures.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, GMP, GWP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and other food safety and quality standards.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year course.

• Candidates with a vocational or college undergraduate background may be considered with at least 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations and inventory control.

• Knowledge of inventory management, stock monitoring, material handling, and re-order point management.

• Experience with ERP systems or computerized inventory systems is an advantage.

• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Leadership and supervisory experience is an advantage.
