Job summary

Prifood Corporation in Cebu City is seeking a Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations for finished goods and materials. You will optimize space, implement FIFO/FEFO, and lead a team to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The role focuses on cost reduction, process improvement, and compliance with ISO standards, GMP and HACCP. Strong IT skills with SAP/Exact/Oracle/ACCPAC and solid knowledge of logistics principles are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in business/operations management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing/warehouse leadership experience.
• Knowledge of ISO, GMP, HACCP and health/safety standards.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, costing and financial principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Exact/Oracle/ACCPAC) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct receiving, handling, distribution and storage of all products and materials.
• Design warehouse layout to optimize space and observe FIFO/FEFO principles.
• Implement cost-reduction measures and eliminate waste in warehouse operations.
• Lead warehouse labor force and monitor daily activities.
• Prepare and report monthly warehouse KRAs and performance indicators.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet market demand and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs in all warehouse processes.
• Maintain accurate inventory and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Oversee logistics operations for timely transport and on-time delivery (OTD).

Job description

Job Purpose:

The position is responsible for directing, receiving, planning, warehousing and distribution services of the organization. The position is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, quality, efficiency organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the receiving, handling, distribution and storage of all products, materials, equipment and supplies that come in and out particularly from RM, PM Warehouses.
• Design and plan warehouse layout and space requirements in order to prevent loss or damage, observe FIFO/FEFO method and to achieve full warehouse optimization by taking into account full implications of product/material turn over, size, weight and other factors when allocating warehouse storage space.
• Implement effective cost reduction measures in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities by eliminating waste and duplication of work, double handling, adopting best warehouse practices, and introducing technology where it is efficient.
• Manage the warehouse labor force efficiently and economically.
• Implements management initiatives and processes and shall be responsible in the preparation and reporting of Warehouse monthly KRA
• Manage customer support. Plan and support activities
• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company policies.
• Monitor the daily warehouse activity.
• Ensure efficient warehouse process and scheduling.
• Interact effectively with other Department Head to ensure that warehouse processes and other requirements will always be complied.
• Shall see to it that you are knowledgeable on the EXACT system procedure
• Manage Logistics operations for the timely transport and delivery of finished goods on standard of OTD, OTA, implements OFR = 98% Standard.
• Ensures the maximum utilization of warehouse facilities.
• Coordinates with other department to ensure proper receiving, transfer and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods.
• Coordinates with the marketing department in maintaining minimum and maximum level of finished goods in warehouse based on market demand and sales forecast.
• Ensure immediate resolution on inventory discrepancies. Analyzes inventory variances per cycle count and provides immediate solution to significantly reduce the variance.
• Ensures effective utilization of warehouse areas and observes proper loading, unloading, stocking and safekeeping of items to maintain the quality of finished goods in order to prevent product damage.

Job Qualifications

• College degree in business administration or its equivalent.
• Industry relevant manufacturing experience minimum of 5 years.
• Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Knowledge of business and management principles and practices.
• Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of human resource principles and practices.
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Information technology skills application (SAP, EXACT, ORACLE, ACCPAC).
• Physically and mentally fit preferably assertive, pro-active, open minded, with good communication skills and can work with less supervision.
• Knowledge of quality systems and standards Experience in an ISO certified company. Knowledgeable with Health, Sanitation, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP practices.
