Job summary

Atlantic Grains Inc. in Laguna, Calamba, is seeking a organized warehouse professional to support inventory control and spare parts operations. You will assist in planning, receiving, data entry, and stock level monitoring to keep parts available and losses minimized.

The role requires a 4-year degree and at least 1 year in warehouse operations; you will help maintain records, prepare PRs, update re-order points, and train new staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of any 4-year course.
• At least 1 year of experience in warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Understanding data management, stock levels and re-order points.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing spare parts SOPs and ensure proper execution.
• Maintain records using manual or computerized inventory systems.
• Oversee incoming items, identify damaged goods, and address issues promptly.
• Monitor and forward requested items to requestors on time.
• Assist inventory handling, planning and control processes.
• Reconcile variances and align actual records with system records.
• Assist in preparing Purchase Requests and coordinate approvals.
• Assist in training new employees on SOPs and processes.
• Develop stock reorder points and quantities and update database.
• Create and submit spare parts reports as required.

About the role

Assist immediate superior in the overall planning, leading, directing, organizing and controlling resources and activities of all administrative functions in relation to spare parts area and personnel to keep its operation at maximum efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and/or cascading of all spare parts operating procedures and ensures that it is properly executed and followed per position

• Maintain accurate records of data using manual or computerized inventory system

• Oversee the incoming of items from suppliers, identify any damaged goods, and ensure prompt action is taken to address these issues

• Facilitate in monitoring of all requested items by each department are forwarded to the requestor on a timely manner

• Assist the immediate superior in overall process of inventory material handling, planning and control

• Support the immediate superior in reconciling variances, ensuring that discrepancies are addressed promptly and that actual records align with system and/or manual records

• Assist the immediate superior in preparation of Purchase Request (PR) to replenish parts and supplies, coordinate and expedite approvals as required, and provide follow-up action to purchasing

• Assist in training of incoming employees for all Standard Operating Procedures, Guidelines, Work Instructions and programs

• Assist the immediate superior in developing stocks re-order point and quantities to ensure adequate stock levels and continually update database

• Create and submit spare parts reports as required by the immediate superior
