Job summary

Private Advertiser in Manila seeks a skilled maintenance professional to perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general building upkeep. The role requires on-call availability for evenings and weekends and hands-on experience with hand and power tools.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or vocational training and proven experience in maintenance, carpentry, and basic electrical systems. Immediate availability is preferred for site-based work in Binondo, Manila.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as skilled maintenance or similar position.
• Knowledgeable about carpentry, woodworks and cabinetry.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
• Experience using hand and electrical tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Be available for on-call work evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work logs and records related to completed work tasks.
• Receives work orders and determines necessary tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete assignment.
• Performs carpentry work in the alteration, repair, and maintenance of buildings, facilities and stores, including partitions, cabinets/modules, floors, furniture and scaffolds.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues. Assist in repairs to electrical wiring, switches, outlets, fixtures, and motors.
• Paints walls and buildings and performs other related tasks including preparing surfaces for painting or repainting.
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.
• Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, etc. as needed.
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations and repairs.
• Report to Engineering Manager for issues.

• High school diploma or vocational courses equivalent

• Must be residing in Manila or willing to be assigned in this area.
