Job summary

Stone of David Corporation is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician in Taguig with 3–5 years of building or store upkeep experience. You will perform carpentry, electrical and HVAC maintenance, general repairs, and safety inspections to keep facilities functional.

Requirements include a high school diploma or technical course; TESDA NC II is a plus. Must be able to use hand/power tools, work overtime/weekends, and coordinate repairs with teams.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or technical course in Electrical Technology, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Mechanical Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in building, facility, or store maintenance preferred.
• TESDA NC II is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in electrical troubleshooting, wiring installation, HVAC maintenance, basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general building maintenance.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, hydraulics and other building systems.
• Able to use common hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving with attention to detail.
• Physically fit for lifting and manual tasks; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to overtime, weekends/holidays, and emergency repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry work including repair and installation of doors, cabinets, shelves and other wooden fixtures.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, clean and maintain air conditioning units; coordinate major repairs.
• Maintain electrical systems: lighting, wiring, switches, outlets and breakers; ensure safety standards.
• Carry out general maintenance including minor plumbing, painting, and building upkeep.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in good condition.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments.
• Observe and comply with workplace safety policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Able to use common hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting equipment and performing manual maintenance tasks.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Willing to render overtime, work on weekends or holidays, and respond to emergency maintenance requirements when necessary.
