Job summary

Private Advertiser in Manila seeks a skilled maintenance professional to perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general building upkeep. The role requires on-call availability for evenings and weekends and hands-on experience with hand and power tools.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or vocational training and proven experience in maintenance, carpentry, and basic electrical systems. Immediate availability is preferred for site-based work in Binondo, Manila.

Qualifications

Proven experience as skilled maintenance or similar position.
Knowledgeable about carpentry, woodworks and cabinetry.
Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
Experience using hand and electrical tools.
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
Be available for on-call work evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

Maintains work logs and records related to completed work tasks.
Receives work orders and determines necessary tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete assignment.
Performs carpentry work in the alteration, repair, and maintenance of buildings, facilities and stores, including partitions, cabinets/modules, floors, furniture and scaffolds.
Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues. Assist in repairs to electrical wiring, switches, outlets, fixtures, and motors.
Paints walls and buildings and performs other related tasks including preparing surfaces for painting or repainting.
Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.
Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, etc. as needed.
Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations and repairs.
Report to Engineering Manager for issues.
