Job summary

RVD FOOD GROUP in Paranaque City, Metro Manila, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance professional on a full-time basis. You will ensure facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a safe, functional, and well-organised workplace for staff and clients.

• Proven experience in maintenance or handyperson services, with a track record of successfully managing facility maintenance.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to diagnose and resolve issues independently.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and respond quickly to urgent maintenance requests.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across all levels.
• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights where required.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in maintenance, electrical work, or plumbing are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance inspections on all facilities, equipment, and systems to identify potential issues before they become problems
• Conducting preventative maintenance on machinery, fixtures, and building infrastructure to extend their lifespan and reduce downtime
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from staff members, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
• Carrying out repairs to electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, doors, locks, and other building components as needed
• Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs completed, and materials used
• Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, safe, and compliant with relevant health and safety standards
• Liaising with external contractors and suppliers when specialist services are required
• Monitoring inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as necessary
• Conducting safety checks and identifying potential hazards within the facility
• Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by suggesting efficiency enhancements and cost-saving measures
