Job summary

Net Pacific, Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Engineer (Civil Engineer) to join our Capas, Tarlac team on a full-time basis.

You will be the on-site technical representative, supervising civil and structural construction activities, ensuring adherence to drawings, specs, and safety standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license or eligibility to obtain one in the Philippines.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as Site Engineer or similar role.
• Proven expertise in site supervision and quality control.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise all on-site construction activities per plans and standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections and quality checks for safety and specs.
• Maintain comprehensive site documentation: reports, logs, tests, as-builts.
• Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers for timely progress.

About the role

Net Pacific, Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Engineer (Civil Engineer) to join our team on a full-time basis in Capas, Tarlac. This is a strategic position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution, quality and safety of our civil and structural engineering projects on-site. As Site Engineer, you will be the primary technical representative on-site, responsible for overseeing all construction activities, maintaining compliance with engineering specifications, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on significant infrastructure and construction projects whilst working with a dynamic and professional team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications and engineering standards
• Conduct daily site inspections and quality control checks to verify that work meets the required engineering specifications and safety standards
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive site documentation, including daily reports, progress logs, material testing records and as-built drawings
• Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
• Monitor material deliveries and conduct quality verification to ensure all materials meet project specifications
• Implement and enforce health, safety and environmental (HSE) protocols on-site to maintain a safe working environment
• Identify and report construction issues, deviations and risks to the project management team and recommend corrective actions
• Assist in the resolution of technical issues and provide on-site engineering support to address construction challenges
• Liaise with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities regarding site progress and compliance matters
• Maintain accurate records of project milestones, delays and variations for project documentation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from a recognised institution
• Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility to obtain one in the Philippines
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in civil and structural engineering projects
• Proven expertise in site supervision, quality control and construction management
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and building codes applicable to civil engineering projects
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents
• Experience with construction documentation and as-built record management
• Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with construction management software is advantageous
• Willingness to work on-site full-time and adapt to project schedules as required
