Job summary

Ang Construction Corporation is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer (Site Engineer) on a full-time basis at our Baliuag, Bulacan site. You will oversee day-to-day engineering operations, ensure compliance with designs, safety standards, and project schedules, and act as the technical backbone on site.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 8–12 years of site engineering experience on building projects, PE license, and proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD or PlanSwift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 8–12 years site engineering experience on vertical/building projects
• Knowledge of bill of quantities, material schedule, S-Curve and progress reporting
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD or PlanSwift
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• PE license
• Experience with concrete inspection, steel reinforcement verification, and material testing preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to approved plans, specifications, and building codes
• Conduct regular site inspections and document progress through daily reports, photographic records, and quality assessments
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers and manpower to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Identify and resolve technical issues and non-conformances on site, implementing corrective actions as needed
• Maintain accurate records of construction progress, material testing results, and site documentation
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the construction site
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating construction activities to maintain project timelines
• Conduct soil testing, concrete sampling, and other quality control procedures as required
• Support the project engineer in budget management and cost control measures

About the role

Ang Construction Corporation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer (Site Engineer) to join our growing team on a full-time basis at our site in Baliuag, Bulacan. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day engineering operations of our construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. As a Site Engineer, you will be the technical backbone of our on-site operations, liaising between the project management team, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality construction outcomes that meet our rigorous standards.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 8-12 years of site engineering experience on vertical or building type projects from mobilization to post qualification.
• Knowledgeable in bill of quantities, material schedule, S-Curve and progress reporting.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Autocad or Plan Swift
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and building codes relevant to the Philippines
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings
• Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards in construction
• Experience with site surveying, levelling, and basic engineering calculations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various project sites
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience with concrete inspection, steel reinforcement verification, and material testing is preferred
