Job summary

Net Pacific, Inc. in Taguig City, Metro Manila seeks an experienced Project Director (Civil Engineer) to lead major civil projects from planning to completion.

This full-time role reports to senior management and requires decisive leadership, strict safety and quality controls, and strong stakeholder management. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a PE license, 8+ years in civil project management with 5+ years in leadership, and a proven track record delivering large-scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Licensed Civil Engineer.
• 8+ years of civil engineering project management experience, with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety standards, and PM best practices.
• Experience with BIM, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiating abilities with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all aspects of civil engineering projects from inception through completion, including planning, design coordination, and construction execution.
• Develop comprehensive project strategies, timelines, and budgets whilst ensuring adherence to cost controls and profitability targets.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise project management teams and on-site personnel to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress against KPIs and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, building codes, environmental standards, and company policies across all project sites.
• Manage stakeholder communications and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues that may impact schedule or quality.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and clients.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director (Civil Engineer) to join our team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers a strategic leadership opportunity within our organisation. As Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of significant civil engineering projects. This role is integral to Net Pacific's success, as you will drive project delivery excellence, maintain stakeholder relationships, and ensure all initiatives align with the company's growth objectives. You will report directly to senior management and have the authority to make critical decisions that impact project outcomes and company performance.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• License Civill Engineer
• Minimum 8 years of experience in civil engineering project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or project director capacity
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, safety standards, and project management best practices
• Experience with project management software and tools (BIM, MS Project, or similar platforms)
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound judgement in complex situations
• Knowledge of Philippine construction regulations and local compliance requirements is highly desirable
• Experience in infrastructure, commercial, or industrial construction projects is preferred
