NEWBIG FOUR J CONSTRUCTION INC. is seeking experienced Site Engineers to join our Las Piñas, Metro Manila team on a full-time basis.

You will oversee technical and operational aspects of construction projects, bridging design and on-site execution to ensure safety, quality, and timelines. Responsibilities include supervising on-site activities, conducting inspections, maintaining records, coordinating with teams, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5 years of hands-on Site Engineer experience on commercial or residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Knowledge of PH building codes and safety regs.
• Experience with site documentation and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

About the role

NEWBIG FOUR J CONSTRUCTION INC. is seeking experienced Site Engineers to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical and operational aspects of construction projects at our Las Piñas City, Metro Manila location. This position is essential to ensuring that all construction activities comply with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between engineering design and on-site construction execution, making this role strategically important to the success of our projects and the company's reputation for quality workmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site, ensuring work is executed according to approved plans, specifications and schedules
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to verify that materials, workmanship and construction methods meet specified standards
• Maintain detailed site records, including daily progress reports, material logs, labour records and photographic documentation
• Liaise between the project management team, contractors, subcontractors and clients to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of site issues
• Identify and address safety hazards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and site safety protocols
• Monitor and manage site resources, including materials, equipment and personnel, to optimise project efficiency
• Prepare and review construction method statements and work schedules with the site team
• Carry out setting out and dimensional verification to ensure structural elements are constructed to precise specifications
• Document variations, defects and remedial works, and communicate these to relevant stakeholders
• Support the project engineer in resolving technical issues and providing site-based engineering input

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognised institution
• 5 years of hands-on experience working as a Site Engineer or similar role on commercial or residential construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and best practices relevant to civil and structural engineering
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations, building codes and construction standards applicable in the Philippines
• Experience with site documentation, progress reporting and quality control procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams on-site
• Ability to work independently whilst maintaining collaboration with the wider project team
• Strong experience in horizontal construction works
• Proven experience in drainage works
• Experience in slope protection, slope stabilization, and related earthwork
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various project sites as required
• Civil Engineer (CE) license is a MUST.
