Job summary

ESC Corporation in Pasig, Philippines seeks a Senior Collections Officer to manage arrears for SME customers of a fintech. You will negotiate payment plans, resolve disputes, and maintain records to improve collections performance.

The role requires at least four years in collections, SME experience, and strong English, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Onsite Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:30 pm Sydney time.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of collections experience.
• SME collections experience essential.
• Confident spoken and written English.
• Strong negotiation skills and respectful dialogue.
• Strong organisational skills for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Awareness of Australian regulatory environment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customers with accounts in arrears, tracking overdue repayments and follow-ups.
• Contact customers by telephone, email, SMS to collect outstanding amounts and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Issue relevant notices within required timeframes.
• Respond to email inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Investigate and resolve account queries and disputes, escalating when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of collections activity and communication.
• Build respectful relationships to support collections and retention.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service and other teams to resolve issues.
• Help develop strategies to improve collections performance.
