Job summary

ESC Corporation is seeking a dedicated Collections Officer to manage overdue customer accounts and support responsible debt recovery. The role emphasizes customer-focused communication and accurate record-keeping.

You will negotiate repayment plans, assess hardship applications, and coordinate with external providers while ensuring compliance with NCCP, Privacy Act, and Debt Collection Guidelines. The position is full-time onsite in Ortigas (near Robinsons Galleria) with Australian business

Qualifications

• Previous experience in collections, credit control, or customer account management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for sensitive conversations.
• Understanding of collections processes and regulatory requirements (Debt Collection Guidelines, NCCP, Privacy).
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and document accurately.
• Professionalism, resilience, and empathy when assisting customers.
• Team-oriented with accountability for individual performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound communications with customers regarding overdue accounts.
• Negotiate compliant repayment arrangements.
• Assess and process hardship applications.
• Coordinate with external service providers for collections activities.
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications and payment arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with debt collection guidelines, NCCP, and Privacy Act obligations.
• Provide admin support to the collections team.
