Coins in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Merchant Acquisition Manager to drive onboarding and growth across Bohol and Eastern Visayas. You will lead negotiations, manage a regional portfolio, and partner with product, tech, and operations to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional merchant experiences.

The role requires 4-7 years in fintech or payments, strong relationship-building, and a track record of exceeding targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• 4-7 years in merchant acquisition, business development, or account management.
• Proven experience closing high-value deals.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel within the region.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Bohol or Eastern Visayas.

Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and onboard new merchants across industries onto our payment services (POS terminals, QR payments, e-wallets).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants across Bohol and Eastern Visayas to drive usage and retention.
• Lead negotiations on merchant discount rates, commercial terms, and service agreements for high-value deals.
• Collaborate with product, tech, and operations to support onboarding and integration.
• Serve as senior point of contact for merchant queries and escalations.
• Own portfolio performance by monitoring volumes, KPIs, and growth opportunities.
• Mentor junior account team members and share regional market insights.
• Represent the company at merchant and industry events in Bohol and Eastern Visayas.
