Job summary

Abenson Ventures, Inc. in Quezon City, Metro Manila is seeking an IT Technical Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance and security across the organisation.

You will lead technical operations teams, implement best practices, manage incidents, and collaborate with business stakeholders to drive digital transformation and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in IT operations management or technical operations within mid to large organisations.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure (servers, networks, databases, cloud platforms AWS/Azure).
• Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
• Proven leadership and experience supervising technical staff.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience with monitoring, ticketing tools and dashboards.
• Strong communication with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Project management experience; change management awareness.
• Certifications like ITIL Foundation or CSA are advantageous; security knowledge valued.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily IT infrastructure operations including servers, networks, databases and cloud environments.
• Monitor performance, availability and security; implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
• Lead technical operations teams with guidance and performance management.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices.
• Manage incident response and coordinate resolutions to minimise impact.
• Plan system maintenance, upgrades and deployments with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet technical requirements for new systems.
• Prepare reports on operational metrics, capacity planning and system performance.
• Manage IT service levels and vendor relationships for quality support.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement security controls.
