Job summary

APW Tech is seeking a Senior IT Analyst with deep expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and ServiceNow HAM Pro to lead hardware asset initiatives. The role involves governance, lifecycle management, data quality, and stakeholder coordination across platforms and vendors.

The ideal candidate will review designs, validate configurations, and drive improvements in asset data, reporting, and compliance within a hybrid work environment comprising three days onsite and two days remote.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Service Management (ITSM), or related IT operations environments.
Strong hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow HAM Pro including hardware stockrooms, asset lifecycle management, asset reconciliation, normalization, and CMDB.
Working knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities: business rules, UI policies, Flow Designer, Workflow, ACLs, Performance Analytics, ServiceNow reporting.
Experience with Flexera or similar software asset management platforms.
Understanding of ServiceNow integrations using APIs and MID Server.
Strong knowledge of IT asset governance, compliance, and lifecycle management.
Experience developing asset management policies, controls, and reporting frameworks.
Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with vendors, reviewing technical deliverables, and managing solution implementations is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee ServiceNow HAM Pro initiatives and enhancements.
Define and validate hardware asset lifecycle processes, governance standards, and compliance controls.
Review technical designs, workflows, configurations, and reporting solutions related to IT asset management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve asset data quality, reconciliation, and process efficiency.
Develop dashboards, reports, KPIs, and analytics related to asset inventory, compliance, and lifecycle status.
Identify process gaps and risks and drive continuous improvements across the IT asset management function.
Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of solutions and integrations.
