Job summary

CTBC Bank Philippines is seeking an experienced IT Application Manager to oversee a portfolio of business applications across their lifecycle, performance, security, and availability. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to deliver upgrades and new features that meet regulatory and security requirements.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years in IT with 5+ years in project management for banking systems, and hands-on experience with .NET, Oracle, MS

Qualifications

• College Degree – IT Related Course from a reputable school.
• Minimum of ten (10) years experience in Information Technology focusing on system analysis, design and development.
• At least five (5) years engagement in project management and implementation of various banking systems with major roles.
• Experience on .Net Technology, Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres, AS400.
• Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
• Good communication and presentation abilities around technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong leadership in managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Vendor management and contract engagement experience.
• Ability to lead organizational change and digital transformation initiatives.
• Customer-focused mindset with commitment to service quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee portfolio of business applications, managing lifecycle performance, security, availability and continuous improvement.
• Work with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure applications meet organizational needs.
• Plan upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations and monitor progress against timelines.
• Lead application-related projects, migrations, and integrations; manage budgets and resources.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to application support teams and ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate audits, risk assessments, and vendor performance; negotiate contracts when required.
