Job summary

CTBC Bank (Philippines) Corp. is seeking an experienced IT leader to manage a portfolio of business applications, drive lifecycle performance, security, and overall availability.

You will collaborate with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to plan upgrades and deliver improvements across critical banking systems. The role requires a strong background in system analysis, design, and development, plus extensive project management experience in banking environments.

Qualifications

• College Degree – IT Related Course from a reputable school.
• Good communication skills.
• Minimum of ten (10) years experience in IT focusing on system analysis, design and development.
• At least five (5) years engagement in project management and implementation of banking systems with major roles.
• Experience on .Net Technology, Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres, AS400.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of business applications including lifecycle performance and security.
• Work with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure efficiency.
• Plan and coordinate application upgrades, patches, and new features.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements.
• Assist in feasibility studies by evaluating proposals and recommending solutions.
• Conduct high-level gap analysis against BRD.
• Review and approve SRS and design of IT software projects.
• Oversee operation, maintenance and performance of applications.
• Provide 2nd level BAU support.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain application roadmap and lifecycle plans.
• Manage application support teams and vendors.
• Ensure incidents, problems, and service requests meet SLAs.
• Coordinate incident, problem and change management activities.
• Lead root cause analysis for major incidents.
• Track availability and performance against SLAs.
• Bridge between business users, IT teams and vendors.
• Gather requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Lead application-related projects, migrations and integrations.
• Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
• Govern security standards and regulatory policies.
• Coordinate audits and risk assessments.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
