Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock in the Philippines seeks an Employee Relations Consultant to advise leaders on disciplinary matters and minimize legal risk. You will lead ER consultations, investigate concerns, and partner with HR, Legal and business units to drive compliant, productive workplaces.

In this hybrid role, you will monitor ER case data, design policy communications, mentor junior staff and lead complex projects while maintaining high autonomy and professional standards in a dynamic financial

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of ER/LR experience in PH in insurance, BPO, or finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science or Legal Management or related field.
• Skilled in conflict mediation and negotiations.
• Knowledge of PH labor laws and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complaints and provide guidance for timely resolution.
• Counsel and train management on performance management and discipline.
• Liaise between HR, Legal, and business areas on ER issues.
• Design communications on policies and programs.
• Ensure policy compliance and manage severance actions.
• Analyze ER case data in Salesforce to identify trends.
• Lead complex ER projects with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior ER staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
