Job summary

Business Process Outsourcing International, Inc. is seeking a Compensation and Benefits Officer in the Philippines to oversee accurate and timely administration of employee compensation and benefits programs.

You will ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations while providing efficient support to employees on compensation matters. The role involves maintaining compensation and benefits records, handling payroll data, and coordinating with government agencies and providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in compensation and benefits, payroll, or HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and government-mandated benefits.
• Experience handling SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other statutory benefits.
• Good understanding of payroll processes and employee compensation.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain employee compensation and benefits programs.
• Prepare and validate payroll-related data, including salaries, allowances, deductions, and other compensation components.
• Process and monitor employee benefits such as HMO, government-mandated benefits, leave benefits, and other company-provided benefits.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee benefits enrollment, changes, and claims.
• Maintain accurate and updated employee compensation and benefits records.
• Coordinate with government agencies, benefits providers, and external partners when necessary.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to compensation and benefits.
• Respond to employee inquiries and resolve concerns regarding payroll and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws and regulations.
• Assist in the review and implementation of compensation and benefits policies and programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information.
