The Business Analyst will support the analysis, design, and implementation of enterprise and operational systems. This role focuses on understanding business needs, documenting requirements, improving processes, and collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to deliver effective solutions. The ideal candidate has experience with workflow analysis, system documentation, and cross-functional coordination, preferably within healthcare, HR, finance, or enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis & Documentation
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and workflow studies.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, or process documents.
- Map current vs. future-state workflows and assist in identifying improvement opportunities.
Process Improvement
- Participate in operational audits and workflow assessments to identify bottlenecks and automation potentials.
- Support the design of optimized processes that improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
Systems Support & Implementation
- Support implementation and enhancement of enterprise systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, product, operations) to ensure solutions align with business requirements.
- Assist in issue tracking, root-cause analysis, and verifying resolutions.
UI/UX Collaboration
- Prepare wireframes, prototypes, and process diagrams to support solution design discussions.
- Work with design teams to ensure user interfaces are intuitive and aligned with user needs.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Support the creation and execution of test cases, test scripts, and UAT documentation.
- Participate in unit testing, regression testing, UAT sessions, and release validation.
Stakeholder Communication
- Facilitate discussions between business users, developers, and external partners.
- Track requirements, follow up on action items, and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in user training, onboarding, and documentation after system rollout.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
- Strong knowledge of requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping.
- Experience working with enterprise platforms such as HRIS, financial systems, EHR, or similar systems.
- Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools such as JIRA, Trello, Monday.com, MS Teams, or Google Workspace.
- Basic understanding of QA/testing activities.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
