Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in requirement elicitation techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys).
• Solid experience with process modeling and documentation tools.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to identify, document, and manage business requirements and user stories for new systems and automation projects.
• Perform process analysis using BPMN and gap analysis to define As-Is and To-Be processes.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional specs with traceability to goals.
• Prepare and maintain BRD, functional specifications, and SOPs.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track project success metrics post-implementation.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews to gather information and achieve consensus on requirements.
• Act as the bridge between business and technical teams and support change management.
• Assist in defining test strategies and executing UAT with the QA team.

Position Summary

The Business Analyst is a crucial link between business objectives, technology, and process improvement. This role is responsible for deeply understanding the needs of the business, translating them into clear requirements for technical teams (including the Process Excellence, Automation, and Data teams), and ensuring that deployed solutions deliver measurable value. The ideal candidate excels at stakeholder management, detailed requirement elicitation, and data-driven analysis to inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering and Documentation

• Work closely with business stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and leadership to identify, document, and manage business requirements and user stories for new systems, process changes, and automation projects.

• Conduct in-depth process analysis using methods like process mapping (BPMN) and gap analysis to define current-state ('As-Is') and desired future-state ('To-Be') processes.

• Translate high-level business needs into detailed, clear, and unambiguous functional and non-functional specifications, ensuring traceability to business goals.

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), functional specifications, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Data Analysis and Solution Assessment

• Perform data analysis to support business cases, identify root causes of problems, and quantify the potential benefits (ROI, cost savings, efficiency gains) of proposed solutions.

• Collaborate with the Data and Automation teams to ensure that data requirements for models and automated systems are accurately captured and met.

• Evaluate potential solutions, whether technological, process-based, or organizational, against documented requirements and business value.

• Develop reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau to track project success metrics and monitor business performance post-implementation.

Stakeholder Management and Communication

• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews with stakeholders across different business units to gather information and achieve consensus on requirements.

• Act as the primary communication bridge between the business side and the technical development/implementation teams.

• Assist in change management by communicating changes to stakeholders and providing input for training materials, ensuring smooth user adoption.

Quality Assurance and Project Support

• Collaborate with the testing team to define test strategies, create test cases, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the delivered solution meets the documented requirements.

• Support the project manager in planning, tracking, and reporting on project progress, risks, and issues related to business analysis activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelorʼs degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience and business concepts to a technical audience.

• Strong proficiency in requirement elicitation techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, surveys).

• Solid experience with process modeling and documentation tools.

• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum).

• Experience with a data visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis).

• Experience in the financial, operations, or technology sector.

• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).

• Understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI/ML concepts is a plus.
