Job summary

NCS Group is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support the analysis, documentation, and improvement of business processes and system requirements. You will work with senior analysts, project managers, developers, QA, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective technology solutions.

Responsibilities include creating BRD/FRD, writing user stories, mapping processes, and supporting testing and traceability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/IS/Business/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of Business Analysis or related experience.
• Familiar with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io).
• Basic SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps or similar PM tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good documentation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering, documenting, and validating requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and elicitation sessions.
• Create BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, and use cases.
• Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with development and QA to clarify requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, reviews).
• Support UAT by preparing test scenarios and coordinating with users.
• Maintain project documentation and requirements traceability.
• Assist in change request analysis and impact assessment.
• Support training and post-go-live activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.

• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, process flows, and use cases.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw. io.
• Basic knowledge of SQL is an advantage.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools is a plus.
