Job summary

WeSupport Incorporated is seeking an IT Business Analyst to translate business needs into system requirements and process changes. You will design and refine business processes, manage project scope, and provide high-level estimates aligned with timelines.

Responsibilities include preparing BRD/FSD documents, supporting SIT/UAT test work, and coordinating with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure successful Go-Live and post-go-live support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of IT Business Analyst experience in Banking/Financial Services, Lending, or FinTech.
• Experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and solution design for system development and enhancement projects.
• Strong experience in preparing and maintaining BRD, FSD, and process diagrams.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with business users, project managers, developers, QA teams, and vendors.
• Experience supporting SIT/UAT/Go-Live activities and test design.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and obtain sign-off of business requirements documents ensuring new/enhanced systems meet business requirements and objectives


• Develop, maintain, and obtain sign-off of the Functional Specification Document that meets business requirements and system capability


• Assist on the development and review of SIT and UAT test scenarios/cases based on business scenarios and FSD


• Work with business on the creation/update of business processes based on new business requirements


• Provide support to clarify issues between business users and technology teams during SIT, UAT, Go-live, and Post Go-live activities

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or any related field


• At least 3-5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in Banking, Financial Services, Lending, or FinTech


• Proven experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and solution design for system development and enhancement projects


• Strong experience in preparing and maintaining Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Process Flow Diagrams, and Business Process Documentation


• Experience in analyzing and improving business processes to support digital transformation initiatives


• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies


• Experience collaborating with business users, project managers, developers, QA teams, and third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle


• Experience supporting System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Go-Live, and Post Go-Live activities, including test scenario and test case review


• Ability to manage multiple requirements and prioritize deliverables while ensuring project scope and timelines are maintained


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate requirement gathering sessions and present solutions to business stakeholders


• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Azure DevOps, or similar collaboration/documentation platforms


• Experience in consumer finance, digital lending, banking operations, or financial services is highly preferred


• Previous experience working with external vendors or third-party system providers
