Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage bank reconciliations, payroll, and U.S. tax filings for multiple clients.

You will use QuickBooks Online, Gusto, and CCH Axcess Pro to deliver timely financial statements and tax returns. This client-facing role requires strong English, GAAP knowledge, and AI-assisted efficiency. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience performing bank reconciliations, account analysis, payroll, and issuing financial reports for a CPA firm.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; strong GAAP knowledge.
• Hands-on experience preparing U.S. individual and business returns in CCH Axcess Tax (Pro).
• Excellent spoken and written English; client-facing role with direct communication to U.S. clients and tax agencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage, categorize, and reconcile financial transactions for multiple clients in QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare financial statements and run payroll through Gusto; close month and deliver statements by the 5th of the following month.
• Prepare U.S. tax returns in CCH Axcess Pro and assist the CPA.
• Communicate with clients to gather documents and update on book and return status.
• Call IRS and state/local tax agencies to resolve notices and follow through to closure.
• Coordinate with CPA and operations to serve client needs; manage invoicing as appropriate.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude) to accelerate analysis and client drafts.
