Job summary

Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS) is seeking experienced bookkeepers and accounting professionals to support U.S.-based clients. You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, reconcile accounts, prepare financial reports, and collaborate with clients and team members.

The role is 100% remote from the Philippines with US business hours / Philippine night shift. A Bachelor’s degree is required, along with at least 3 years of hands-on experience and proficiency in QuickBooks Online; CPA candidates are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience supporting U.S.-based clients.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online

Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping and accounting activities, including AP/AR, journal entries, accruals, and month-end close
• Prepare financial reports, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements
• Perform bank, credit card, merchant, and loan account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and financial analysis as required
• Process or support payroll activities depending on client requirements
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation
• Develop and maintain accounting checklists, SOPs, and close calendars
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and processes
• Collaborate with clients and team members through meetings and regular communication
• Communicate financial information clearly and flag potential issues or discrepancies when identified
