Job summary

Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage client books including QuickBooks Online, payroll processing in Gusto, and U.S. tax returns via CCH Axcess Pro.

You will liaise with clients and the CPA to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. The role requires strong English communication, high attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience performing bank reconciliations, account analysis, payroll, and issuing financial reports for CPA firms.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Solid understanding of GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with U.S. returns in CCH Axcess Tax (Pro).
• Excellent spoken and written English; client-facing role: emailing, Zoom, IRS/state contact.

Responsibilities

• Manage, categorize, and reconcile financial transactions for multiple clients in QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare financial statements and run payroll via Gusto; close month and deliver statements by the 5th of the following month.
• Prepare U.S. tax returns in CCH Axcess Pro and assist CPA.
• Communicate with clients and CPA; respond to questions and provide updates.
