Job summary

The Rothenbury Group is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to support AP activity across a portfolio of Canadian businesses. You will review invoices, maintain vendor accounts, and prepare payment batches while ensuring accurate month-end records across multiple entities.

The role requires handling high volumes, independent work, and strong knowledge of Canadian GST/HST. This is a remote position for applicants based in the Philippines, with attendance as needed to local events.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Experience with accounts payable and month-end processes.
• Strong English communication and multi-entity experience.
• Experience supporting Canadian companies is required.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or similar ERP.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and authorization.
• Process invoices and maintain vendor profiles across entities.
• Prepare payment batches and reconcile vendor statements.
• Assist with month-end close and AP reporting.
• Identify discrepancies and support controls and improvements.
