Job summary

Flexihire Talent is seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage day-to-day financial records for a remote, full-time contractor role. You will handle AP, AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and GST/HST related bookkeeping, reporting to the CEO. The position requires proven accounting experience and a reliable remote setup.

You will work with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage, coordinating with external accountants. This role is fully remote and based in the Philippines with Eastern Time overlap.

Qualifications

• Proven accounting and bookkeeping experience (3+ years).
• Hands-on AP/AR management with Canadian clients.
• Experience with GST/HST and Canadian accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
