Job summary

Asiacruit is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in a flexible remote arrangement based in the Philippines. You will manage vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain strong internal controls across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable or related finance roles.
• Proficient with accounting systems/ERPs and Excel.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and validate vendor invoices against PO, contracts, and delivery records.
• Payment Execution: Prepare and execute payment runs and reconcile bank payment files.
• Vendor Management: Maintain vendor master data and respond to inquiries or disputes.
• Month-End Close Support: Assist with reconciliations, accruals, and schedules for review.
• Controls & Compliance: Adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements; support audits.
• Process Improvement & Systems: Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and leverage ERP systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with accounting, procurement, and operations to resolve issues.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: Support special finance projects as needed by Finance Manager.
