OpsArmy Careers seeks a Senior Accountant to own end-to-end accounting for a portfolio of clients, using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and handling inventory and cost accounting for e-commerce/CPG businesses.

The role requires managing month-end close activities, addressing client inquiries, and delivering accurate financial reporting with clean records in QBO and Double. Fully remote opportunity, collaboration with Controllers and Staff Accountants to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications

• QBO: hands-on experience for day-to-day accounting operations and financial recordkeeping.
• Inventory and Cost Accounting experience.
• Transactional accounting experience.
• E-commerce or CPG accounting knowledge.
• Month-end close experience.
• Strong attention to detail and maintaining complete, accurate records.
• Independent work with ability to manage priorities and escalations.
• Strong client communication and timely follow-ups.
• Excellent organization and time management.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end month-end close process for an assigned client portfolio, including AP/AR and payroll-related tasks.
• Take ownership of specific accounting tasks within the close cycle.
• Perform transactional accounting activities and ensure proper recording and reconciliation.
• Manage inventory and cost accounting and related financial reporting.
• Apply e-commerce/CPG accounting methods, including inventory and cost considerations.
• Prepare, review, and deliver client accounting reports and financial deliverables.
• Respond to client questions and resolve accounting concerns; follow up on items.
• Maintain clean, up-to-date financial records in QBO and Double.
