Job summary

OpsArmy is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong QuickBooks Online expertise to own end-to-end accounting for an engaged client portfolio. The role emphasizes inventory, cost accounting, and transactional entries for e-commerce/CPG environments.

The candidate will lead month-end close, produce client reports, and respond to inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate financial records across multiple engagements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QBO experience for day-to-day accounting operations.
• Inventory and cost accounting experience with e-commerce/CPG.
• Transactional accounting and accurate financial recordkeeping.
• Experience with month-end close and meeting deadlines.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Strong written and verbal client communication.
• Good organization and time management to track open items.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end month-end close for a portfolio of clients.
• Perform transactional accounting and ensure proper recording of transactions.
• Manage inventory and cost accounting and related reporting.
• Prepare and review client accounting reports and deliverables.
• Respond to client inquiries and resolve accounting concerns.
• Coordinate documentation and escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain clean financial records in QBO and Double.
• Collaborate with Controllers and Staff Accountants to ensure quality service.
