OpsArmy is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong QuickBooks Online (QBO) expertise to own end-to-end accounting and month-end close for an assigned client portfolio. The role emphasizes inventory and cost accounting, transactional accuracy, and e-commerce/CPG familiarity.

You may work independently or lead the Controller and Staff Accountant for a given engagement, ensuring accurate financials and timely client deliverables. Fully remote role.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end month-end close for a client portfolio.
• Manage specific close tasks and ensure timely completion.
• Record, classify, and reconcile financial transactions.
• Oversee inventory and cost accounting activities.
• Apply e-commerce/CPG accounting methods for inventory/costs.
• Prepare and review client accounting reports and deliverables.
• Respond to client questions and resolve accounting issues.
• Collect missing documentation to support timely accounting.
• Maintain accurate records in QBO and Double.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate risks to Controller.
• Monitor deadlines and deliverables across engagements.
• Support process improvements and cross-functional projects.
• Collaborate with Controllers and Staff Accountants for quality reporting.
