Job summary

OpsArmy Careers is seeking a Senior Accountant to own end-to-end accounting for a portfolio of clients. You will use QuickBooks Online (QBO), manage inventory and cost accounting, and handle transactional accounting for ecommerce or CPG businesses, ensuring accurate records and timely month‑end close.

Qualifications

• QBO hands-on proficiency for day-to-day accounting.
• Experience in inventory and cost accounting.
• Experience in transactional accounting and journal entries.
• E-commerce or CPG accounting knowledge.
• Month-end close management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and financial record integrity.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal client communication.
• Excellent organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end month-end close process for a portfolio of clients.
• Handle transactional accounting activities and ensure accurate records.
• Manage inventory and cost accounting reporting.
• Prepare and review client accounting reports and deliverables.
• Respond to client questions and resolve accounting issues.
• Collect missing documentation to support timely close.
• Maintain QBO and Double records accurately.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate risks to Controller.
• Ensure deadlines and client deliverables are met.
• Support process improvements within the accounting team.
• Collaborate with Controllers, Staff Accountants and team members.
