Job Title: Screening Agent
Monthly Pay: PHP 20,870 - 34,010 per month
Summary
Take one candidate from an assigned application through basic screening questions to a confirmed recruiter interview. Your calling list contains applicants waiting for their first conversation or a return call. You listen to their answers, explain the next step, and keep their progress clear. The aim is to give recruiters accurate screening notes and candidates a clear interview plan. A recruiting team lead checks your approach and explains how to handle unusual questions. This job is fully remote, and you work from home using phone and online tools. The role pays a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare the basic fit questions before each call. Open your assigned candidate list in an applicant tracking system such as Lever.
- Call applicants through a business phone system or dialer such as Dialpad. Introduce yourself and explain why you are calling.
- Ask about interest, availability, a quiet workspace, and spoken English. Follow the approved questions and write down each answer clearly.
- Explain the next step in simple words. Use approved information for routine questions and send other questions to the recruiting team lead.
- Apply the recruiter's screening rules to mark each candidate as ready, not ready now, or not a fit.
- Book ready candidates with a recruiter using a scheduling and calendar tool such as Google Calendar. Confirm the interview details together.
- Send a short reminder before the interview. Call candidates who miss it and help arrange another suitable interview time.
- Record each call result, the candidate's answers, and the next action. Update the candidate's stage before moving to another call.
- Share complete screening notes with the recruiter before the interview. Make any missing answers clear so the recruiter can prepare.
- Mark wrong numbers, repeated entries, and withdrawals to keep lists tidy. Keep candidate information private throughout each step.
- Meet quality standards through accurate notes, polite calls, correct bookings, and prompt follow-up. Use feedback to improve your next conversation.
Qualifications
- Professional spoken and written English, because calls are generally with candidates and teams in the United States.
- A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection, and reliable electricity.
- No recruiting experience required. Related phone support, customer service, interview scheduling, or administrative experience is preferred.
- A calm, friendly phone voice and the ability to explain a screening question without changing its meaning.
- Willingness to learn the named tools for candidate tracking, phone calls, and interview calendars through guided practice.
- Care with candidate answers, interview dates, and next steps when entering notes or checking an existing booking.
- Ability to follow a short screening guide consistently while giving each candidate enough space to answer.
- Respect for candidate privacy when viewing lists, sharing notes, or discussing progress with the recruiting team.
- Clear written messages for reminders and handovers, with the ability to ask for help when instructions are unclear.
- A fully remote setting where you work from home and focus on candidate phone conversations.
- Structured onboarding and guided training on the named candidate tracking, calling, and calendar tools.
- Regular check-ins with the team lead to review questions, discuss feedback, and improve your call approach.
- Explore growth opportunities within the team as you develop screening knowledge and stronger interview coordination skills.
