Job Title: Candidate Screening Assistant
Monthly Pay: PHP 20,280 - 34,200 per month
Summary:
Follow each candidate from an application to a screening call and a booked interview. You receive candidate lists and use simple questions to check basic fit for the next step. You explain what happens next, write clear notes, and help candidates prepare for their recruiter interview. Your goal is to give recruiters useful answers and candidates clear updates throughout the process. A recruiting team lead guides your work and helps with questions outside the call outline. This position is fully remote, so you can work from home. The role pays a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Open assigned candidate lists in an applicant tracking system such as Lever. Review the basic screening questions and plan your calls.
- Call applicants through a business phone system or dialer such as Dialpad. Introduce yourself and explain why you are calling.
- Ask approved questions about interest, availability, a quiet workspace, and spoken English. Listen carefully and write each answer clearly.
- Explain the role and the next step using approved information. Answer simple questions and send other questions to the recruiting team lead.
- Use the recruiter's basic rules to mark candidates as ready, not ready yet, or not a fit for this opening.
- Book ready candidates with a recruiter using a scheduling and calendar tool such as Calendly. Confirm the interview date and time.
- Send a short interview reminder. Follow up after a missed interview and help arrange another booking when needed.
- Record each call result, screening answer, and next action. Keep notes clear enough for another team member to follow.
- Share completed screening notes with the recruiter before the interview. Flag unanswered questions so the recruiter can address them.
- Keep candidate entries tidy and private. Mark wrong numbers, repeated entries, and withdrawals, and treat every candidate politely.
- Meet quality standards through accurate notes, polite calls, correct bookings, and prompt follow-up. Use feedback to improve your next call.
Qualifications:
- Professional spoken and written English, because calls are generally with candidates and teams in the United States.
- A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection, and reliable electricity.
- No recruiting experience is required. Related phone screening, customer service, scheduling, or administrative experience is preferred.
- A calm, friendly phone voice and the ability to ask short questions without rushing the candidate.
- Willingness to learn how applications, screening calls, recruiter interviews, and candidate updates fit together.
- Comfort learning the named tools to manage candidate entries, make calls, and arrange interviews with recruiters.
- Care with written answers, candidate stages, dates, and times, including checking details before saving a booking.
- Respect for candidate privacy and care when sharing screening notes only with the right team members.
- Ability to follow a question outline, listen without interrupting, and ask the team lead when guidance is needed.
- A fully remote role where you work from home and support candidates by phone.
- Structured onboarding and training on Lever, Dialpad, and Calendly, with guidance on the complete screening process.
- Regular check-ins with the team lead to review questions, call quality, and progress.
- Growth opportunities within the team as you build screening, interview scheduling, and candidate support skills.
