Job Title: Phone Screener
Monthly Pay: PHP 20,960 - 34,850 per month
Summary
Each candidate's path starts with your phone call after they apply and join the recruiter's candidate list. You ask basic fit questions, listen closely, and record clear answers for the recruiter. You guide suitable candidates toward a booked interview and explain what happens next. Your goal is to make each step clear while keeping notes and interview details accurate. You receive guidance from a recruiting team lead throughout the screening process. The position is fully remote and lets you work from home while helping candidates by phone. The role pays a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare basic fit questions about interest, availability, a quiet workspace, and spoken English before starting calls. Follow the recruiter's approved question list.
- Open candidate lists in an applicant tracking system such as Workable. Review application notes and choose the order of calls.
- Call applicants through a business phone system or dialer such as Aircall. Introduce yourself, explain the call, and check they can talk.
- Ask the prepared questions in a calm, friendly way. Listen without interrupting and write answers clearly for the recruiter.
- Use the recruiter's simple rules to mark candidates ready for the next step, not ready, or not a fit.
- Explain the next step using approved information. Answer basic process questions and pass other questions to the recruiting team lead.
- Book recruiter interviews using a scheduling and calendar tool such as Google Calendar. Confirm the agreed date and time before ending the call.
- Send short interview reminders. Call candidates who miss interviews, check whether they still want to continue, and arrange another booking.
- Update call results, answers, and next steps after each conversation. Pass complete screening notes to the recruiter before the interview.
- Keep candidate records tidy and private. Mark wrong numbers, duplicate entries, and withdrawals so later calls use the correct information.
- Meet quality standards through accurate notes, polite calls, correct bookings, and quick follow-up. Review corrections with the recruiting team lead.
