Job Title: Candidate Interviewer
Monthly Pay: PHP 20,220 - 34,550 per month
Summary:
Start with an assigned applicant, hold a short phone interview, and help arrange the next conversation. Your work comes from candidate lists prepared for recruitment support. You ask basic fit questions and record scored answers using a clear guide. The goal is to give recruiters useful notes before they meet each candidate. A recruiting team lead provides your interview outline and helps with questions that need further guidance. This fully remote position allows you to work from home and support candidates through each step. The role pays a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Hold short, structured phone interviews about interest, availability, workspace, and spoken English. Use the same basic questions for each candidate.
- Before each call, review the assigned list in an applicant tracking system such as Workable. Plan which candidate to contact next.
- Call applicants through a business phone system or dialer such as Dialpad. Introduce yourself and explain why you are calling.
- Listen to each answer and record scored notes using the recruiter's guide. Ask a clear follow-up question when an answer needs explanation.
- Explain the next step using approved information. Answer simple questions and pass questions outside your outline to the recruiting team lead.
- Mark candidates as ready, not ready now, or not a fit using the recruiter's rules. Explain the relevant next step politely.
- Arrange recruiter interviews through a scheduling and calendar tool such as Google Calendar. Confirm the selected date and time before ending the call.
- Send interview reminders and follow up after missed interviews. Help arrange a new booking when the recruiter requests another conversation.
- Update call results, candidate stages, and next actions after each conversation. Share completed notes with recruiters and mark duplicates or withdrawals.
- Keep candidate information private throughout the process. Quality is judged through accurate scored notes, polite calls, correct bookings, and prompt follow-up.
Qualifications:
- Professional spoken and written English, because calls are generally with candidates and teams in the United States.
- A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection, and reliable electricity.
- No recruiting experience is required. Related phone interviewing, customer service, or interview scheduling experience is preferred.
- A calm phone voice and confidence introducing yourself, asking short questions, and explaining the next step clearly.
- Ability to follow a structured interview outline and apply a simple scoring guide without adding personal assumptions.
- Willingness to learn the named tools for candidate tracking, phone calls, and interview scheduling during onboarding.
- Care with candidate names, interview dates, call results, and written notes so recruiters can understand each conversation.
- Respect for candidate privacy and care when sharing interview notes only with the people supporting that candidate.
- Ability to listen without interrupting, confirm unclear answers, and ask the recruiting team lead for help when needed.
- A fully remote work from home setup focused on phone interviews and clear candidate updates.
- Structured onboarding and guided practice with the named candidate tracking, phone, and scheduling tools before handling the complete call process.
- Regular check-ins with the team lead to review questions, strengthen interview notes, and improve your call approach.
- Explore growth opportunities within the team as your interviewing skills and understanding of the candidate process develop.
