Job Title: Call Screening Agent
Monthly Pay: PHP 20,480 - 33,710 per month
Summary:
Begin with one assigned application, call the candidate, and ask simple questions before arranging the next step. Your calling list comes from people who have applied and need an initial screening conversation. You record their answers, explain the process, and help suitable candidates arrange an interview with a recruiter. The aim is to turn each call into clear notes and a well explained next step. A recruiting team lead supplies your call outline and helps you apply the screening rules consistently. You carry out this fully remote job through phone calls and work from home. The role pays a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare the basic fit questions before opening assigned candidates in an applicant tracking system such as Lever. Plan your calling order.
- Contact each applicant through a business phone system or dialer such as Dialpad. Introduce yourself and explain the call clearly.
- Ask about interest, availability, a quiet workspace, and spoken English. Listen carefully and write answers without adding your own assumptions.
- Explain the next step using approved notes. Answer basic questions and pass questions outside those notes to the recruiting team lead.
- Apply the recruiter's simple screening rules. Mark the candidate ready for the next step, not now, or not a fit.
- Book ready candidates through a scheduling and calendar tool such as Calendly. Confirm the interview date, time, and joining details.
- Send a short reminder before the interview. Call candidates who miss their interview and help arrange another suitable appointment.
- Record each call result, answers, and next action. Share complete screening notes with the recruiter before the interview begins.
- Mark wrong numbers, duplicate entries, and withdrawals. Keep candidate information private and maintain a clear record of changes.
- Meet quality standards through accurate notes, polite calls, correct bookings, and prompt follow-up. Use feedback to improve your next conversation.
Qualifications
- Professional spoken and written English, because calls are generally with candidates and teams in the United States.
- A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection, and reliable electricity.
- No recruiting experience required. Related phone support, customer service, scheduling, or administrative experience is preferred.
- A calm, friendly phone voice and the ability to explain one step at a time.
- Willingness to learn the named applicant tracking, business phone, and scheduling tools through guided practice.
- Ability to follow a basic screening outline and separate candidate answers from your own views.
- Care when entering call notes, checking interview dates, and confirming that calendar details match.
- Respect for candidate privacy and readiness to share information only with the appropriate recruiting team members.
- Ability to listen without interrupting, write clear summaries, and ask for guidance when an answer is unclear.
- A fully remote role where you work from home and support candidates mainly through phone conversations.
- Structured onboarding and practical training on the named tools, call outline, screening rules, and interview booking steps.
- Regular check-ins with the team lead to review calls, ask questions, and receive useful feedback.
- Explore growth opportunities within the team as you build stronger screening and interview coordination skills.
