• Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media recruitment platforms.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and recruiting candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals
• Screening resumes and conducting initial telephone interviews to assess candidate suitability for open positions
• Coordinating and scheduling interviews between candidates and hiring managers
• Maintaining accurate and organised recruitment records and candidate databases
• Posting job advertisements on appropriate platforms and managing job listings
• Conducting background checks and reference verification as required
• Supporting the onboarding process and ensuring a smooth transition for newly hired candidates
• Collaborating with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop targeted recruitment strategies
• Tracking recruitment metrics and reporting on recruitment funnel progress
• Participating in recruitment events, job fairs, and campus visits to attract candidates
