The Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the booking team, driving sales performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role combines leadership, training, and strategic planning to optimize team efficiency and enhance client satisfaction throughout the booking process.
Lead and manage the booking team, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance performance and productivity.
Monitor team performance against sales quotas and objectives, implementing strategies to achieve targets.
Ensure team members effectively handle client inquiries about travel products and provide accurate information.
Act as a point of escalation for complex client issues, ensuring prompt resolution and high levels of satisfaction.
Review and approve quotations and statements of accounts prepared by team members before presentation to clients.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss sales strategies, share product knowledge, and promote best practices.
Analyze sales reports and client feedback to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and ensure smooth transaction management.
Maintain a deep understanding of travel products and services to support team knowledge and client interactions.
Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration, motivation, and professional development.
Bachelor's degree (Tourism, Business, or related).
2+ years of supervisory/lead experience in the travel industry.
Strong problem-solving skills applied in a travel operations or sales environment.
High attention to detail in managing bookings, documentation, and customer information.
Experience coaching and training a sales or booking team to meet or exceed sales targets.
Experience handling client escalations and ensuring high-quality customer service.
Experience using reports and data analysis to drive operational performance.
