COCOTEL INTERNATIONAL INC. seeks a Sr. Sales Manager to lead sales strategies and drive revenue growth across corporate, leisure, and group segments.
You will guide the sales team, manage key accounts, and partner with Revenue Management, Reservations, Marketing, and Operations to maximize opportunities and ensure top-notch client service. The role requires 5+ years in sales in hospitality or travel sectors, with 2-3 years in supervisory roles.
The Sr. Sales Manager develops and executes sales strategies to achieve revenue, occupancy, and business growth objectives. The position also provides leadership and guidance to the sales team, monitors sales performance, and collaborates with Revenue Management, Reservations, Business Development, Marketing, and Operations to maximize business opportunities and ensure excellent client service.
Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies and action plans to achieve revenue targets.
Drive new business development and identify potential corporate, leisure, group, MICE, and travel trade accounts.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, travel agencies, and business accounts.
Conduct sales calls, client meetings, presentations, site inspections, and business negotiations.
Manage and grow key accounts while identifying opportunities for upselling and repeat business.
Monitor sales performance, revenue targets, conversion rates, and pipeline activities.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates for management.
Work closely with Revenue Management and Reservations to optimize room sales, rates, and availability.
Collaborate with Marketing and E-commerce teams on promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.
Represent the company in trade shows, networking events, sales missions, and industry activities.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Sales, preferably in the hospitality, hotel, travel, OTA, or tourism industry.
At least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial sales role.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
Strong experience in corporate sales, account management, business development, and client relationship management.
Strong negotiation, presentation, networking, and closing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and business development skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and sales/CRM systems.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
