This is an Outbound Sales Assistant Manager position in a call center environment. The role focuses on telesales work, including both inbound and outbound activities. Inbound work involves responding to customer-initiated calls to activate services, request product/service changes, schedule installations or repairs, or resolve product/service or billing issues. Outbound work includes initiating calls to potential customers from provided leads, targeting existing customers for cross/up sell, prior customers, and potential new customers. Positions at this level have comprehensive knowledge of the specific discipline and execute specialized projects according to set principles. You will generate and initiate your own workload, supervise less experienced professionals, and be responsible for the end-product. You are expected to significantly improve day-to-day activities and processes, manage and oversee the implementation of short-term activities within the team, and deliver professional responsibilities with a focus on excellence.
Perform telesales work (inbound/outbound) in a call center environment
Respond to customer-initiated calls to activate services, request product/service changes, schedule installations or repairs, or resolve issues
Sell targeted products/services as part of customer-initiated interactions
Initiate outbound calls to potential customers from provided leads
Supervise work of less experienced professionals and provide professional expertise
Manage and oversee implementation of short-term activities within the team
Significantly improve day-to-day activities and processes
Make operational decisions within a defined scope
Deliver professional responsibilities with focus on professional excellence
Manage a team of Individual Contributor co-workers
Minimum 5–8 years of BPO Sales experience
At least 2–3 years managing leaders (Sr. Team Lead/Assistant Manager level, Sales, Outbound Sales, Coaching, or Operations)
Strong background in Outbound Sales, objection handling, and conversion strategies
Proven experience in driving sales performance and developing high-performing teams
Strong knowledge of performance metrics, coaching, and action planning
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
Dynamic, proactive, and capable of building strategies and implementing course corrections
Preferably with Travel & Hospitality experience, especially cruise lines or hotels
