Job summary

ArtJohnley Enterprises is seeking a Sales Field professional in the Philippines to identify and develop new business within the assigned territory. You will prospect potential clients, schedule field visits, and establish relationships to promote the company’s products and services.

You’ll gather requirements, timelines, and budgets, then endorse qualified opportunities to the Sales Team for quotation and processing.

Responsibilities

  • Territorial Client Prospecting: Identify potential clients within the assigned territory.
  • Prioritize areas where multiple qualified prospects can be visited within one field activity.
  • Research and identify established businesses, offices, institutions, projects, and other potential clients.
  • Identify decision-makers, purchasing personnel, project officers, or relevant contacts.
  • Develop a territorial client database and continuously add qualified prospects.
  • Field Visits: Conduct scheduled client visits within the assigned territory.
  • Visit both existing and potential clients for business development purposes.
  • Establish professional relationships with prospective clients.
  • Introduce the company’s products and services.
  • Determine the client’s current and future requirements.
  • Gather information regarding upcoming projects, procurement requirements, and purchasing activities.
  • Maintain regular face-to-face communication with important clients and prospects.
  • Lead Generation: Generate qualified sales leads through field activities.
  • Identify actual product, service, and project requirements.
  • Determine the potential value and urgency of each opportunity.
  • Identify the client’s purchasing timeline and decision-making process.
  • Gather RFQs, product specifications, project details, or other available requirements.
  • Identify additional opportunities from clients and surrounding businesses.
  • Client Development: Establish new client connections and develop new accounts.
  • Maintain relationships established during field visits.
  • Follow up prospects and newly established contacts.
  • Encourage prospects to submit inquiries and requirements to the company.
  • Develop potential clients into active accounts.
  • Opportunity Endorsement to Sales Team
  • Endorse qualified requirements to quotation and sales processing with necessary details.
  • Territorial Account Development: Maintain a list of established and potential clients per territory.
  • Group field visits geographically to maximize time and transportation costs.
  • Identify clusters of potential clients within the same area.
  • Build a continuous pipeline of prospects within the assigned territory.
  • Revisit qualified prospects based on their purchasing timeline.
  • Coordinate with the Sales Administrator regarding newly established clients and opportunities.
  • Field Reporting: After every field activity, submit an accomplishment report detailing clients visited, contact persons, purpose, requirements, prospects, opportunities, quotations, follow-up actions, and next visits.

Primary Accountability
The Sales Field is accountable for generating new client connections, developing territories, conducting productive client visits, identifying sales opportunities, and endorsing qualified leads to the Sales Team for quotation and conversion.
