Job summary

Based on Scientia is seeking a field-based sales professional in Metro Manila with experience in the construction industry to drive orders and build dealer networks. Responsibilities include studying client needs, adjusting presentations, and resolving issues with cross-functional support teams.

• Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and future potential of clients or dealers.
• Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the need of a specific buying influence.
• Resolves customer concerns by coordinating with support groups and by developing solutions.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports.
• Monitors competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing, products, and delivery schedules.
• Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

Roles and responsibilities include:

• Submits orders by referring to price lists, product brochures and complete specifications.
• Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and future potential of clients or dealers.
• Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the need of a specific buying influence.
• Resolves customer concerns and complaints by properly coordinating with support groups but not limited to developing solutions; compiling reports; making recommendations to management.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily WIG activities, weekly itinerary, and other sales activities.
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
• Reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any course
• Must have at least one (1) year sales experience in construction industry
• Must be efficient, effective, flexible and willing to work under pressure.
• Must have excellent communication (verbal and written), organization, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Must be willing to do field work.
