Job Overview:
The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers, and meeting sales targets. This role involves product demonstrations, managing customer inquiries, and closing sales. The Sales Representative works closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development) to ensure customers' needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales leads through research, networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Customer Engagement: Reach out to potential customers, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of products or services to effectively sell them.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations or presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and features.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate pricing and contract terms and work towards closing deals.
- Sales Targets: Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Customer Service: Provide post-sale support, addressing any concerns or issues clients may have.
- CRM Management: Update and maintain customer and sales data in the company’s CRM system.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
