Job Summary:
The Sales Account Specialist is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities by promoting and selling the company’s commissary products to restaurants, cafes, food stalls, and other food industry clients. The role focuses on expanding the company’s market reach, building strong client relationships, and generating additional revenue beyond in-store sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new clients within the food industry such as restaurants, cafes, catering services, and food retailers.
- Promote and sell the company’s commissary products to external clients.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and product presentations.
- Coordinate with the commissary and operations team regarding product availability and delivery schedules.
- Monitor sales performance and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Manage client accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
- Attend meetings, food industry events, and networking activities to generate leads.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the food industry, commissary supply, or FMCG.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to identify market opportunities and generate new leads.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Proficient in MS Office and sales reporting.
