Job summary

Blaine Corporation in Cavite, Philippines is seeking an experienced Sales Professional in the Food Industry. The role focuses on achieving monthly and annual sales targets, developing client relationships, and providing technical product knowledge.

The incumbent will visit clients regularly, process orders, ensure on-time collections, and contribute to marketing objectives while attending industry events and seminars.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. Food Technology or Business/Marketing-related degree.
• Experience: At least 2 years sales experience in the Food Industry.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for assigned customers.
• Develop and maintain business with customers to meet Company sales objectives.
• Visit clients regularly to address inquiries and concerns.
• Provide technical assistance and product knowledge to customers.
• Follow up on sales orders and accounts receivable regularly.
• Inform supervisor of customer updates and activities.
• Promote products within defined sales territory and food industry categories.
• Submit timely sales reports (weekly/monthly itineraries, accomplishment reports, forecasts, expenses).
• Ensure on-time collection per payment terms and assist Credit/Collections as needed.
• Contribute ideas to improve sales/marketing objectives.
• Attend supplier lectures and industry events; monitor competitors' activities.

Job description

• Ensures achievement of monthly and annual sales targets of assigned customers.
• Develops, handles, and maintain the business to customers with the purpose of achieving the Company’s sales objective through the following activities:
• Visits clients on a regular basis to cater to their inquiries and concerns
• Provides technical assistance and product knowledge to customers
• Follow-up Sales Orders and account receivables to clients on a regular basis
• Informs immediate superior of customer updates and activities.
• Promotes company’s products to existing and potential customers within the defined sales territory and food industry categories.
• Submits on time required sales reports, such as weekly / monthly itineraries, weekly accomplishment reports, monthly / weekly sales forecast, expense report.
• Ensures that sales are collected on time in accordance with agreed payment term set by the Management.
• Assists the Credit and Collection Department, in collecting and/or setting aged receivables.
• Contributes and suggests ideas towards improving and/or achieving sales and marketing objectives of the Company.
• Attends seminar lectures conducted by suppliers and participate in industry events.
• Benchmarks and monitors competitors’ activities and strategies.
• Performs other duties that maybe assigned from time to time.
• Education: B.S. Food Technology, Business, Marketing Management or other related Food Industry courses.
• Experience : With at least two (2) years of sales experience in the Food Industry.
