The Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth. This role involves identifying business opportunities, coordinating with internal departments, and delivering effective solutions tailored to client needs. The Account Manager acts as the main point of contact for assigned accounts and plays a key role in achieving the company’s sales and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring consistent communication and high satisfaction levels
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth, upselling, and cross‑selling of services
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ logistics and business requirements to provide customized solutions
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, customer service) to ensure smooth and timely service delivery
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for new and existing clients
- Monitor account performance, resolve issues, and ensure prompt handling of client concerns
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance reports for assigned accounts
- Track sales performance and ensure achievement of assigned revenue and client retention targets
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitors, and industry developments to support business strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or any related field
- With at least 1–3 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development (preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry)
- Strong background in client servicing and project coordination
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications and CRM tools

- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
